Connor McDavid disses Gary Bettman after winning the Conn Smythe
Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid won the Conn Smythe trophy despite being on the losing team and he dissed Gary Bettman by not coming out for it.
Earlier this evening, the Florida Panthers were crowned the 2024 Stanley Cup Champions.
After the game, it was announced that Connor McDavid won the Conn Smythe trophy despite being on the losing team. Following the announcement, McDavid did not come out for the trophy presentation.

McDavid was held scoreless for the final two games of the Stanley Cup Final but despite this, setting records was enough for him to win the Conn Smythe.
Panthers fans were upset that Sergei Bobrovsky was not awarded the Conn Smythe but Bobrovsky will certainly trade a Conn Smythe for a Stanley Cup any day.
