J.T. Miller's time in Vancouver is quickly coming to an end, and now we know exactly why the organization is pushing so hard to make a trade.

The Vancouver Canucks have been dealing with non-stop drama for months now, and over the weekend it almost came to an end as the team pushed hard to trade J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers.

After weeks of speculation, things rushed over the weekend for Vancouver, and now, top NHL Insider Nick Kypreos has revealed exactly why the team acted in such haste.

I heard something happened between Tocchet & Miller in the last week to cause this rush to trade him.

According to Kypreos, some type of altercation happened between Miller and Head Coach Rick Tocchet over the past week, and while the team was still weighing up how hard to push on a trade, that pushed them in the right direction to move the 31-year-old veteran.

Given the way that things have gone in Vancouver as of late, it's no shock that tensions were high with Tocchet, Miller, Elias Pettersson, and the entire organization, but with the way Miller has been targeted by the media, it was no surprise that he snapped.

Whatever it was that happened, it wasn't so bad that Tocchet took Miller out of the lineup, as he continued to play for the Canucks, but now, every time he steps on the ice, the belief is that it could very well be the final game for him in a Canucks uniform.

Teams like New Jersey, Boston, Carolina, and the New York Rangers remain active in trade talks with Vancouver, and after this altercation, it's unlikely that Miller makes it to the deadline as a member of the Canucks organization.
