During the third period of last night's game between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers, Matt Rempe got sent flying by Dmitry Kulikov surprisingly.
Since breaking into the NHL this past season, Matt Rempe has established himself as a formidable foe constantly laying hits and willing to get into fights when called upon.

This hit came in the third period which Rempe does not typically play in but because of an injury to forward Jimmy Vesey, Rempe was relied upon in crucial minutes including overtime.
Here is what Rempe had to say about playing in overtime of one of the biggest games of his life.
«Lavy called my name and I was like oh my god, let's go! Jiminy Crickets, let's go!»
