Since breaking into the NHL this past season, Matt Rempe has established himself as a formidable foe constantly laying hits and willing to get into fights when called upon.
The 6'8" forward typically is on the delivering side of big hits but last night against the Florida Panthers he got sent flying by defenseman Dmitry Kulikov.
This hit came in the third period which Rempe does not typically play in but because of an injury to forward Jimmy Vesey, Rempe was relied upon in crucial minutes including overtime.
Here is what Rempe had to say about playing in overtime of one of the biggest games of his life.
Ultimately, the Rangers won game two at home tying the series up at one a piece heading to Florida.
