Connor Bedard headlines a loaded Team Canada World Championship team
Hockey Canada just announced their 2024 IIHF World Championship roster including a lot of NHL talent like Connor Bedard, Owen Power, and more.
Team Canada has officially announced their roster for the 2024 IIHF World Championship.
Meet the 22 players who will wear the 🍁 at #MensWorlds!
Of the 22 players representing Canada, 21 have played NHL games with the only omission being projected 2024 1st overall pick Macklin Celebrini.
The Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets, Ottawa Senators, Utah HC (formerly Arizona Coyotes), Calgary Flames, Seattle Kraken, New Jersey Devils, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and Anaheim Ducks all have players representing Canada.
Notably, Sidney Crosby was left out of the roster after a lot of speculation on whether he would captain the team or not. This team will look to bring home the Gold Medal and make Canada proud!
