Former NHLer fires shots at the Arizona Coyotes and their relocation
Former NHLer Luke Gazdic has gotten brutally honest in a recent segment and has sounded off on the Arizona Coyotes and their legacy in the NHL.
The hockey world was recently rocked by the announcement of the Arizona Coyotes relocation to Salt Lake City and pretty much everybody has a take they want to share on the situation.
In a recent Sportsnet segment, former NHLer Luke Gazdic got brutally honest about the situation at hand. Gazdic started off strong with this:
"It's been a bit of a clown show to be honest from start to finish" - Luke Gazdic
Gazdic also mentioned how this blindsided the players who will now have to uproot their lives and families for Utah. After this, he offered his condolences for the Coyotes faithful.
"That's the people I think about first and foremost is the players and their families and uprooting their families to a new city and location. I also think about the staff, when I was in Edmonton especially I had a great relationship with everyone from game day operations to ticket sales to community relations and I think of all these people involved who had no decision-making whatsoever over the hockey operations process that are probably gonna be out of jobs. People that have worked there, some of them, for decades." - Gazdic
While this is a business decision from the very top, this will have an impact on hundreds of people and thousands of fans.
