Jeff Skinner has reached 1000 games played without playing in playoffs
Only 395 players have played 1000 NHL games. They have all played a playoff game. Jeff Skinner has reached this achievement, without playing a single playoff game.
Jeff Skinner, the thirty- one-year-old, seventh overall draft pick for the Carolina Hurricanes during the 2010 Entry Draft played for the Hurricanes for 8 seasons without reaching the playoffs. In 2018 he was traded to the Buffalo Sabres in a package deal that included, among others, Pyotr Kochetkov.
Despite the unfortunate fact that he has not yet had the chance to prove himself in the playoffs, it is still an incredible accomplishment to play in 1000 NHL games.
Jeff Skinner has reached a milestone in his career that has demonstrated that he is a valuable player and teammate. Skinner and his fans should be happy with this impressive accomplishment.
