Tonight the New York Rangers have announced that forward Artemi Panarin has been forced to leave their game against the New Jersey Devils due to injury.
The New York Rangers announced worrying news tonight that superstar forward Artemi Panarin will not return due to a lower-body injury sustained against the New Jersey Devils.
He tried to test out the injury he sustained on the bench before eventually heading to the locker room where he has remained since.
According to reports Artemi Panarin potentially suffered the injury earlier in the preseason. He missed a day of practice but then returned. However, it seems he has now either reaggravated an old injury or this could be a new injury entirely.
Artemi Panarin has been a catalyst for the New York Rangers being a Stanley Cup favorite. The 2023-24 season was so incredible for Artemi Panarin that he broke the franchise record for points in a single season.
