Claude Giroux is a very popular name in Ottawa, but unfortunately, it has now been revealed that he's had his car stolen, for the second time this season.

Claude Giroux and his family have been treated well in Ottawa thus far, and while the team is yet to experience major Stanley Cup success, he's been a great individual and a great leader for this team.

Unfortunately, however, they've run into some trouble in the city, with Giroux's partner announcing on social media back in September that they'd had their car stolen.

Unfortunately, we're now back in the exact same spot, as someone has somehow stolen their latest car, with Ryanne revealing on Thursday that someone had also stolen their loaner car.

For this to happen once is ridiculous enough, but for it to happen twice within the span of five months is even worse, with the crime seemingly becoming a major issue for more than just the Girouxs in Ottawa.

The latest theft took place while Claude was out of town on a road trip with the Senators, and at this point in time, there's a chance that someone is targeting him intentionally, although there's nothing yet to say that is true.

Giroux has taken a liking to Ottawa, with the family featured in a Hyundai advertisement during Senators games, so while there's a good chance that the family is taken care of by the car manufacturer, they shouldn't have to during this time.

Fortunately, it appears that Ryanne, Claude, and their children are all okay and nothing else major was stolen from the family, and we hope that they remain safe during this crazy time where not one, but two vehicles of theirs have been stolen.
