Last night was a night to forget for the Flyers after being embarassed 7-0 by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Ten minutes into the game, Flyers coach John Tortorella got ejected from the match by showing a bit to much of anger, after the Flyers were down 4-0. Flyers CEO responds and backs up the teams' coach.

Flyers CEO defends Tortorella

Flyers CEO spoke out about the ejection, and even showed his appreciation for the coach by saying he will pay any fine levitated to him if there is one.
I'm really proud of Torts for standing up for his/our team. This new era of Orange is about having each other's backs. Last night, Torts had our collective backs. I respect any action the league might feel a need to take but if it includes a fine, I am paying it.

We'd probably have to agree, Torts is one of the most passionate coaches in the National Hockey League, and some can argue he would take a bullet for his players. In the end, Torts wants the best for his team and wants the Flyers to remain competitive, and they may even see themselves in the post season. The Flyers got a good one in John Torterella.
