John Tavares takes up new training method ahead of new season
Leafs' John Tavares has taken a different approach in terms of training during the off-season as he was seen taking part in a red light therapy session, Kala.
Tavares was seen doing a promotional video on social media, where he was engaging in a red light therapy session known as Kala, showing fans that he will do whatever it takes to be in top fitness shape heading into the new season.
Six photos were seen on Instagram showing Tavares taking part in this new therapy workout, which has gotten fans excited and pumped to see he is looking to be in great shape.
Welcome to the Kala Family, JT!
Rumors of a meet and greet also began to circulate online after fans found out Tavares was in their local town engaging in this therapy.
For those wondering what type of therapy Kala is, it is a therapy that helps the body recover from injuries and pain quicker through reduced joint pain, enhanced weight loss, improved sleep, better overall physical performance and faster muscle recovery. Tavares knows he needs to be better next year as he enters the final year of his $11 million contract, due to the criticism he's faced by fans.
John Tavares has a whopping five points in his last 15 games.
11 million bucks a year.
The history books will show that his signing was an albatross contract and one of Dubas' many blunders.
#LeafsForever
Tavares has enjoyed doing promotional videos during his time in Toronto, as he was seen a couple of years ago doing a commercial for Lululemon's Team Canada jacket back in 2022. Leafs fans are hoping he can have the same amount of drive when he plays next season.
