Teams made some huge moves at the trade deadline, and while the Toronto Maple Leafs stuck to smaller moves, the latest disrespect from Sportsnet may be too much.
Maple Leafs outside the NHL's Top Ten?
After the trade deadline, Sportsnet released their updated Stanley Cup odds, and while there were some questionable rankings, it comes as the most disrespectful towards the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Here's a look at how the Stanley Cup odds are shaping up post-trade deadline. 👀
The first problem with the list is having the Edmonton Oilers as the Cup favourites, as many believe Colorado, Dallas, Vancouver and potentially Winnipeg all have better odds with their impressive goaltending in 2023-24.
Then comes the biggest disrespect of all, as Sportsnet don't even have Toronto ranked in their top-10, and while they've made it past the first round just once with this core, that may be a bit too low.
It's tough to say who out of Vegas, Winnipeg, New York, Carolina, Boston and Dallas should make way for Toronto on this list, but you can bet this will put another chip on the shoulder of the core four and the rest of the Maple Leafs roster.
