Maple Leafs Fan Disrespects Fellow Fan After Matthews Hat Trick

Yesterday was yet another outstanding performance for Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews. Matthews added yet another hat trick to his resume against the Anaheim Ducks.

With yet another hat trick scored by Matthews, the crowd was sent into a frenzy. In the celebration, one fan acted in a despicable way towards another fan. A fan without a hat was celebrating Matthews' accomplishment when he saw a second fan with a hat. The fan without the hat stole the other person's hat and tossed it on the ice.

The fan who lost his hat was understandably irate and started shouting at the original fan. The video has now made its way to social media where the fan who stole the hat is being called out.

Fan Roasted On Social Media For Disrespectful Actions

The reaction to this clip on social media has sent the situation viral in the hockey community. As one would expect fans are furious with the fan that stole the hat.

At the moment it is unclear whether or not the fan got his hat back. If he didn't hopefully the Maple Leafs see this incident on social media and compensate him somehow. As for the fan who threw the hat, he should be ashamed for not only taking someone else's property but then trying to blame it on others.
