Insider Elliotte Friedman just announced today's waivers and two original six franchises have placed somebody on waivers.
Steen (BOS) & Luff (DET) on waivers
Oskar Steen has played in 34 games this season with the Bruins and has scored only one goal along the way. The forward averages under 10 minutes a night for the Bruins.
Matt Luff has gotten into a no-action (injured during training camp) this season and played in only 19 games with the Red Wings last season. He has produced more offensively with 2 goals and 4 points thus far. He is on his third franchise after playing with the Kings and Predators previously in his career.
We will find out if they both clear waivers tomorrow at 2 pm.
