The Vancouver Canucks have been very active this season on the trade market, and now their General Manager has confirmed their trade plans for this week.

The Vancouver Canucks have already made several big trades this season, acquiring Filip Chytil, Marcus Pettersson and Drew O'Connor while moving out J.T. Miller.
Now, with the trade deadline just days away, fans have been speculating on what the team could do next as they find themselves locked into the Stanley Cup Playoff race with the Calgary Flames in the Western Conference.
Ahead of the trade deadline, General Manager Patrik Allvin has confirmed the teams plans, which may disappoint some fans, as he noted the team aren't looking to add rentals, but are not ruling out making any moves.
«You're always trying to make the team better. But I think we're in the position this year where, I don't envision any rental pickups like last year. We're just going to continue to build and get better.»
Likely, the team have already made their biggest move of the trade deadline when they traded Miller to the New York Rangers, and with Chytil, O'Connor and Pettersson all boosting the current lineup, this is likely what will be their group for the remainder of the year.
The biggest elephant in the room is the Brock Boeser situation, with some speculation that he could be traded ahead of his pending free agency in the summer, and if the team believe moving him would make them better, it's something to keep an eye on.
With it being a sellers market this year, it makes perfect sense for the Canucks to stand pat as they head into a crucial off-season and have little chance in the post-season this year, but at this point, absolutely anything could happen at the deadline.
