The Vancouver Canucks have lost one of their top players in Brock Boeser ahead of game seven against the Edmonton Oilers in the second round of the playoffs.
It was just announced that the Vancouver Canucks will be without star forward Brock Boeser for game seven of their series against Edmonton.
Brock Boeser will not be available for the Canucks in game seven on Monday. If they advance, his status moving forward is unclear.
«Vancouver Canucks winger Brock Boeser is expected to miss Game 7 against Edmonton with a blood clotting issue.
The exact timeline for his return is unknown, but several sources stressed this, thankfully, is not considered a life-threatening situation.»
Boeser has been among the Canucks top players in the playoffs thus far scoring 7 goals and 12 points in 12 games. He is tied for the lead in points and has the lead in goals.
He had his breakout year this year scoring 40 goals and 73 points proving to be an elite piece for the Vancouver Canucks.
Hopefully, for Canucks fans, they can win despite the loss of their star winger and can have other pieces like Elias Lindholm and Elias Pettersson step up so they can advance to the Western Conference Finals.
