BREAKING: Blues Forward Ejected After Questionable hit on Canadiens Defenseman
The St. Louis Blues visited Montreal today for an early afternoon game. During the contest, one Blues player got himself in trouble after he made a very questionable hit on Jordan Harris.
Blues Player Given Match Penalty After Hit On Harris
The player was none other than Sammy Blais. Blais has a history of making questionable hits in the past, making this play just a little bit more concerning.

Fan reaction to the hit was somewhat mixed as some felt that Harris falling at the last second made the play much more dangerous than it otherwise would have been.
That's a clean hit until Harris falls over at the last second
However, others thought that he still had plenty of time to avoid the hit and the play was simply unnecessary to begin with. In general though, fans were not surprised to see Blais making a dirty hit.
