It was once thought that the Montreal Canadiens GM was one of the most coveted jobs in the NHL for any french speaking individual. Apparently that's not the case because over the past 24 hours we've seen Martin Brodeur share that he wasn't interested in leaving his current role and now Stephan Quintal has shared he's not interested in the role either.
Quintal who is currently a Senior Official with the NHL Department of Player Safety shared that he was not experienced enough for the role and felt the next candidate must have some NHL experience.
With names falling out of the running quickly it'll be interesting to see who steps forward as a leading candidate. Maybe it'll be Luongo? Briere? Or will it be someone off the current radar.
