The NHL off-season was another wild one, with several big trades, free-agent moves, and rumors flying, and now as we approach the season, it appears there could still be moves to be made.

A young player swap?

After weeks of hearing about top names potentially being on the move, we now have NHL insider Eklund of Hockey Buzz revealing that a surprising trade between young names could be on the way.

According to Eklund, there has been a discussion between the Flyers and Senators that would be Shane Pinto for Morgan Frost straight up, and it's safe to say this would be an interesting one.

Two young talents

On one side of the deal would be Shane Pinto, a 22-year-old center who played 82 games for the first time in his NHL career a season ago, posting 20 goals and 35 points, who appears to be a bright star of the future.

On the other hand, is Morgan Frost, a 23-year-old who posted 19 goals and 46 points a season ago, and it appears the idea of this deal would be based on the idea that Frost is ready to contribute at a higher level right now, as opposed to Pinto's bright future.

Ultimately, much would need to happen for both sides to make a deal happen here, but if they did make a deal, it's one that could change the fortune of both franchises for a long time to come.
