Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks faced off against the St. Louis Blues and Bedard absolutely dominated.
Bedard Dominates With The Hawks: Nets Three In A 5-0 Win Against St. Louis
It is no secret that the Chicago Blackhawks got a future NHL superstar when they drafted Connor Bedard with the 1st overall pick in the 2023 draft.
Today, the Blackhawks played their first game in the Tom Kurvers prospect tournament and Bedard lit the Blues up.
His first goal was a nasty snipe on the powerplay.
The launch angle on this shot was instantly changed by Bedard and when the puck just explodes off his stick, Bedard is able to beat any goaltender clean.
His second goal showed off his precision with an outstanding goal from an impossible angle.
His third goal was a bit less impressive but he beats one defender, gets just enough space, and rifles a shot past the goalie who had a rough night letting in five goals.
If this can translate past the prospect tournament, there is a legit shot that Connor Bedard has the best rookie season since Sidney Crosby scored 102 points as a rookie with the Penguins and Alex Ovechkin scored 50 goals as a rookie.
