Players Using Sticks As Weapons During Brawl
In the Adult Safe Hockey League, a crazy brawl broke out as it appears a player skates over to the opposing bench to swing their stick at the opponent. This causes the entire bench to retaliate, and it all goes downhill from there.
Dangerous brawl breaks out in Toronto men's league with multiple players using their stick as a weapon.
The insane brawl takes just seconds to escalate into an assault, with players on both teams taking full, overhead swings at each other.
Fighting is one thing, Using Sticks as Weapons is Another
Hockey is a fast-paced and physical game. There are many instances during play where a split-second decision can lead to a dangerous outcome.
Whether or not you think fighting should happen in hockey is one thing. But this incident is another. There isn't any real fighting (aside from one fight, maybe) in the video, just players disgustingly using their equipment to assault other players.
This type of violence has no place in hockey, at any level.
