According to Connor Greene from Inside the Rink the Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins could be nearing a trade to send Jake DeBrusk to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for Kailer Yamamoto with additional assets being involved in the deal.

News leaked earlier this year that DeBrusk had requested a trade out of Boston and was looking for a fresh start. The Bruins have been actively trying to find a suitable trade partner to fulfill the request and it appears Yamamoto checks a lot of those boxes for the Bruins.
Kailer Yamamoto has found himself falling down the Oilers depth chart and with only 8 points in 30 games this season he's fallen far from his 2019-2020 self, where he put up 26 points in 27 games.
Both the Oilers and Bruins are motivated to get a deal done. The Oilers began the season 9-1 before hitting a rough patch, they've currently lost 7 of their last 9 games and are searching for answers. The Bruins have also reportedly signed Tuukka Rask to a contract and will be looking to clear salary ahead of the trade deadline.
This is a fluid situation that could change, but look for Canadian teams to try and make their deadline moves early to try and avoid possible quarantine rules in Canada.
