In what could be one of the best opening round series' the Carolina Hurricanes and Boston Bruins two of the top teams in the East and are going to have a long hard fought playoff series.
The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to make a run in the playoffs this year after finishing 1st in the Metropolitan Divison with a 54-20-8 record, while the Boston Bruins finished 4th in the Atlantic division with a 51-26-5 record this season.
The Carolina Hurricanes having home wanted to take advantage of that and its usually the Bruins throwing the body but Carolina Hurricanes forward Nino Neiderreiter would start the huge hits in this series creaming Bruins defencman Charlie Mcavoy.
