The rivalry between Toronto and Boston goes back a long time, which makes sense considering Boston and Toronto were 2 of the original 6 NHL teams.
And that rivalry continues as both teams suffered first round exits and are now looking to re-tool their rosters and coaching staffs to ensure competitive 2023 campaigns.
It was revealed that Leafs assistant coach Spencer Carbery is one of 5 finalists interviewing for the vacant Bruins head coaching position.
Having spent time as a player and then coach in the ECHL Carbery was hired as an assistant coach with the Maple Leafs in 2021.
