Chicago Blackhawks Claim Sanford Off Waivers From Arizona
The Chicago Blackhawks have made a move today in light of recent injuries to Nick Foligno and Connor Bedard to claim Zach Sanford off the waiver wire from the Arizona Coyotes. The news was announced by Elliotte Friedman and Chris Johnston.
CHI claims Sanford from ARIZ
Sanford was on the St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup championship team in 2019 and will join the Blackhawks in hopes of cracking the lineup given the current state of injuries on the team.
Sanford has 2 assists in 11 games played this season. He has 49 goals and 51 assists in 316 career NHL games.
