With the Montreal Canadiens having only 11 games left on the season the questions remains, will we see Habs Goaltender Carey Price actually play a game this season?

After having successful surgery to repair his knee back in July and then having checked himself into a substance abuse program in October, Price has had setbacks since November including Covid-like symptoms.

Habs Head Coach Martin St Louis was asked by the media about Price and a possible return after today's practice. The Habs head coach had this to say,

"I don't think so,"St. Louis responded when asked if Price could potentially play this weekend."He'll let us know when he's ready."

Price has been with the Canadiens since being drafted 5th overall in 2005. This would of been Price's 15th season in Montreal and is in the midst of aneight-year, $84 million contract he received from former Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin who was fired mid season and replaced by new general manager Kent Hughes.

Price is 34, he's a formerHartTrophy winner as the NHL's Most Valuable Player during the 2014-15 season, as well as a two-time Vezina Trophy winner as the NHL's top goaltender and is the winningest goaltender in Montreal Canadiens history with a 360-247-79 record with a lifetime goals against of 2.50 and .917 save percentage.
