On Tuesday night, the NHL will feature all 32 teams in action for the Frozen Frenzy feature on ESPN, but now, that number may be pushed back to 30.
A major power outage
Due to a power outage at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, it's now being reported that the NHL may need to take a drastic step on one of their biggest nights.
Sounds like #CBJ and #NHLDucks are aiming for an 8:30pm ET puck drop with the power outage currently affecting Nationwide Arena in Columbus.
Originally scheduled for 6:30pm ET as part of 16-game staggered schedule.
The game has already been pushed back to 8.30 ET, and if they have any more issues, it may be the best course of action for Bettman and the NHL to cancel the game between the Anaheim Ducks and Columbus Blue Jackets altogether.
Only time will tell what happens here, but this isn't a good sign for a game featuring Johnny Gaudreau and Trevor Zegras that could feature many highlights.
