BREAKING: Philadelphia Flyers Sign Claude Giroux's Replacement To A Massive 8-Year Deal
In breaking news, this NHL insider has just revealed that the Philadelphia Flyers have just signed Claude Giroux's replacement to a whopping 8-year deal.
Flyers Extend Tippett In Massive 8-Year Extension
Elliotte Friedman has just broken the news that the Philadelphia Flyers have inked a deal with forward Owen Tippett, signing him to a huge 8-year extension with an AAV of $6-6.5 Million.
Sounds like Owen Tippett extension will be eight years, between $6M-$6.5M AAV
This is an incredible deal for the Flyers, as Tippett is having a career season thus far with the Flyers, scoring 18 goals and 12 assists for 30 points in 46 games. His career high is 49 points, which he achieved last season with the Flyers.
Overall, the Flyers look like they may have locked up an emerging talent for a pretty great deal if Tippett continues his incredible development.
