In breaking news, this top NHL prospect was just given a multi-game suspension for spitting on his opponent during a game, and it turned out to be a former teammate.

Parekh Suspended For Two Games For Spitting

The OHL announced today that Zayne Parekh has been suspended for two games for spitting on opposing players during Saginaw's game against Kingston. He was given a game misconduct for his actions during the game.

#OHL Disciplinary Action: Saginaw's Zayne Parekh has been suspended for two games as a result of actions on Jan. 21st at Kingston.

This has sparked some debate among fans about whether or not the OHL is giving him preferential treatment. Spitting is a terribly disgusting thing to do at any time, let alone during a hockey game.

Players have been removed from the league for this action, and just receiving two games has led some to believe that Parekh is getting preferential treatment for being a top-15 prospect.

Clearly, Parekh will have to do some reflecting during his two-game suspension if he wants to avoid getting a reputation.
