BREAKING: Top prospect CLAIMED off waivers by Western Conference contender

The waiver wire has been a very exciting thing this year after we've seen atleast 10 former first round picks put on waivers, even some that were selected as high as 3rd overall.
Yesterday the Nashville Predators made the decision to put 2017 30th overall pick Eeli Tolvanen on waivers, hoping to sneak him through to the AHL.
Tolvanen came into the NHL with a lot of expectations after having a great season in the KHL, scoring 19 goals and 36 points in 49 games as an 18 year old. When he was drafted, scouts believed he has one of the best shots in his draft class, and when you see him play and see his release, you can see that he has the potential to be an elite goal scorer.
Unfortunately for the Predators though, he could never really get it going in their system and now he wont have a chance too as he was claimed off waivers by the Seattle Kraken:
