The Toronto Maple Leafs are under a lot of pressure to preform well this upcoming post-season and will need all players buying into their system and playing at their top level.
Which makes this news update interesting as the Maple Leafs have chosen to scratch one of their best defenceman for tonights game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are playing against a Division rival tonight, the Florida Panthers, who are battling for their playoff lives.
Since the trade deadline, the Maple Leafs have been experimenting with different lineups and have often been dressing 7 defenceman.
Tonight the Maple Leafs have announced that they will be sitting defenceman Morgan Rielly.
While there has been a healthy scratch on the back end almost every game, as Bladeofsteel.com points out this decision is coming shortly after RIelly made some comments during an interview with the Athletic, that he wasn't the biggest fan of the recent lineup changes.
