Over the last few weeks, Brad Marchand has been one of the funniest people in hockey on social media. But it wasn't because of posts or videos, it was his comments on posts.
He was roasting players, fans, teams and even the National Hockey League in general, and it was all pure gold. Whether you like Marchand or not, you could not help but laugh at what he was saying.
But yesterday he announced that he had deleted his social media account. People started speculating on why that might be, whether the team asked him to after the comments he was making, whether it was to focus on the playoffs coming up, but apparently its neither.
According to Marchand, it's because he ''wont pay for it'':
Did Brad Marchand delete his Twitter in order to lock in for the playoffs?
«No - it's strictly because I'm not paying for Twitter.»
