The Boston Bruins have one of the most complete rosters in in in the NHL from top to bottom. With virtually no holes in the line up, you wouldn't be wrong to think they could probably take another serious run at the Stanley cup again.
But unfortunately for the Bruins, they have run into a beast known as the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes so far have had the Bruins number in this series and hold a 2-0 lead.
The series has been pretty violent so far, to this point the Carolina Hurricanes lost goaltender Antti Raanta after being crashed into by David Pastrnak, while the Bruins have lost Defenceman Hampus Lindholm after being smashed by Hurricanes Andrei Svechnikov. The Carolina Hurricanes have dominated the Bruins outscoring them 10-3 in the first two games.
Bruins head coach has announced that he's made a goaltender change for game 3 in Boston, Linus Ullmark is out and Jeremy Swayman is going in. Ullmark was picked at first due to him being the veteran goaltender but Bruce Cassidy hopes this move will turn the series around for the Boston Bruins before it's too late.
Through the first two games, Ullmark has a 4.16GAA and .860 SV%, that's not going to win you any hockey games.
