Bruins Head Coach Speaks On Lucic Arrest
New comments have been made by the Bruins organization coming from head coach Jim Montgomery.
Jim Montgomery on Milan Lucic:
«We're aware of the 'Looch' situation, and as an organization that's something we take extremely seriously. 'Looch' is taking a leave of absence from the team right now." (1/2)
"We support the Lucic family and we will continue to provide support and help for the Lucic family.»
Montgomery on the effect on the team:
"Our culture here is great and we care about each other, right? With that, it's not a normal day. But, we're professionals and we have a game to play tonight. We have to get ready for that."
These statements are similar to the ones made by Bruins captain
Brad Marchand. Marchand's comments left fans unsatisfied that the organization and its members did not denounce what Lucic did.
Either way as Montgomery said the team is looking forward and will get refocused on their next set of games.
