BREAKING: Former NHL GM Reveals The Newest Team In On Patrick Kane
Patrick Kane has begun to choose which NHL team he will sign with and a former NHL GM has revealed the newest contender for the superstar forward.
Former GM Reveals Kane To Vegas
There have been many reports emerging about a potential new team for Patrick Kane. It has already been confirmed that he will not be returning to the Rangers and will be heading to a new team.
There are many contenders for Kane like Toronto, Detroit, Florida, Dallas, and a few others. However, there have been no reports about Kane heading to the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, till now.
Former NHL GM Neil Smith who won a Stanley Cup with the Rangers has revealed that Kane heading to Vegas is a legitimate possibility.
I keep hearing #LGRW or #VegasBorn for Patrick Kane now that #NYR is out of it. #NHL #blackhawks
Smith followed this up by revealing that Detroit and Vegas are the two finalists for Kane and how he believes Detroit is more of a fit for Kane.
Of the teams supposedly in the Patrick Kane derby, #LGRW is the only team that makes sense #Sabres seem out of it #VegasBorn has no cap space, so to me it looks like 88 #Kane will be in #hockeytown #NHL #NYR #Blackhawks
Detroit would be a great fit for Kane as they have fellow Americans Dylan Larkin and Alex DeBrincat, Kane's former linemate, on their top line. This is an opportunity that will be difficult for him to pass up.
Only time will tell where Kane signs but it looks like Vegas and Detroit are the two teams to watch out for now according to Smith.
