The Vegas Golden Knights would fall in a major overtime upset on Saturday, but it may not be the last of their troubles coming out of the game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Stephenson ejected after dirty cross check
During the game, Golden Knights forward Chandler Stephenson would be ejected for a dirty cross-check to Garnet Hathaway, and it's safe to say the Flyers weren't happy about it.
Chandler Stephenson was given a five-minute major and a misconduct for this cross-check on Garnet Hathaway
Stephenson may be facing the wrath of the DPOS
In his first game back from injury, Stephenson not only made this play after the whistle, but violently checked Hathaway right in the face, earning a game misconduct penalty and an immediate ejection.
There's just no need for this type of play in the league today, as it was late, dirty and unnecessary, and when the league take a look at this, there's a very good chance we see Stephenson facing a suspension.
