A conference matchup with two teams heading in different directions went just about how everyone expected.
Early on in this game the Anaheim Ducks came out strong and took a surpising lead thanks to a Mason McTavish goal.
The Ducks would keep their lead for over a period until the Jets would equalize things at 1. Heading into the third period with things tied it looked as though this one would come down to the wire.
Unfortunately for Ducks fans, this was not the case as back-to-back goals from Nate Schmidt and Cole Perfetti would put the Jets in front.
The Jets would hang on to win and head out of Anaheim with yet another win. However, the fireworks would not end once the final buzzer sounded. The intense battle would carry over into the concourse where a group of fans would go at one another.
A shoving match broke out within a group of fans in the halls of the Honda Center. Two fans one a Jets fan and the other a Ducks fan would step in to break things up. However, in doing so their tempers flared and they decided to fight.
What started with shoving from the Ducks fan quickly turned to punches between the two. A big punch landed from the Jets fan onto the Ducks fan. The Ducks fan would go crashing to the ground unconscious.
The Ducks fan can be seen falling to the ground and eventually regaining consciousness. Reports indicate all parties were okay physically and the altercations eventually fizzled out.
