Crazy Scene As Two Suspension Worthy Hits Are Laid Seconds Apart
An incident unfolded last night in a game betwee nthe Arizona Coyotes and the Florida Panthers that will likely earn the NHL Player Safety Department's attention.
Two Suspension-Worth Hits in a Few Seconds at Coyotes VS Panthers
Right before the end of the second period, Nick Cousins delivered a dangerous hit on Juuso Valimaki. A few seconds later, Jason Zucker retaliated and landed an even dirtier hit on Cousins.
Cousins was hit from the back and fell head first onto the boards, long after he had sent the puck away.
After the hit, Cousins remained on the ice for a little while, and his teammate Gustav Forsling dropped the gloves against Zucker.

Zucker got ejected from the game after the incident, but many believe Cousins also should've been thrown out.
However, Zucker's actions perfectly illustrate what the NHL wants to get rid of.
The whole thing could've been avoided, but now, two players could've seriously been injured.
