Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak has officially decided to boycott Gary Bettman's next event because he was excluded from it.

Pastrnak Boycotts Bettman's Tournament

This past weekend, the NHL announced that instead of an all-star game next season, they would be hosting a four-nation tournament between Canada, USA, Finland, and Sweden.

However, many star players are not from one of these four nations and will be excluded from the tournament. David Pastrnak, a native of Czechia, commented on the tournament and his nation's exclusion.

"It's a huge disappointment. Definitely not happy about it," Pastrnak said. "I understand that it's a quick turnaround. It's next year. They probably didn't have much time to make it a bigger tournament."

He added, "But Czech isn't there. So it's always a lot of players left out, so I'm not gonna watch the tournament, to be honest. So just happy that the Olympics got accepted. Yeah, (it) definitely stings a little bit."

However, not all is bad as Pastrnak will be able to compete for Czechia at the Olympics in 2026 and prove that they are worthy of being in the four-nations tournament.
