Did you know? Matt Cookie KO'd Sean Avery in an All-Star Game (Video)
Back in 1998 during an OHL All-Star Game, Matt Cooke delivered a dangerous hit to Sean Avery. The hit in question knocked Avery unconscious and his head violently struck the ice.
Avery ended up with a concussion on the play and obviously left the game and didn't return. This is a far cry from the type of competitive nature we see in today's All-Star Games.
