Evander Kane made an impact 12 minutes into the game by scoring his 1st goal of the season in his 1st game as an Oiler. But it was what he did in the 2nd period that might be getting talked about even more.
On what appeared to be a nothing play Kane lifted his elbow and struck Nick Suzuki high.
After the hit Suzuki was seen holding his face but the camera cut away on the play.
Kane went on to play 17:52 in his 1st NHL game of the season.
