We are very close to the kick-off to the start of the regular season for the National Hockey League, even though we've seen the Predators and Sharks play a few games overseas.

Rosters need to be finalized by 5pm EST on Monday, so today is the final day for teams to put players on waivers who did not make the final roster, and oh boy did we have a lot of players hit the wire today.
