Bodog Sports recently shared their top 10 list of the worst fan bases in all of professional sports, which was to no surprise, many of the common fanbases were alive and well. The list featured the names of teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs, Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and the Boston Celtics, which was not surprising to anyone to see them in the top 5.
Former NHL goalie and Calder winner, Andrew Raycroft, Toronto Maple Leaf royalty, decided to add his opinion to the worst fan base debate.
Raycroft is a veteran of 280 NHL games, played with the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars.
Raycroft is well known for getting traded for Tuukka Rask, which still haunts Leafs fans to this day.
The Montreal Canadiens were 8th on the list, but Raycroft is definitely a little biased as the majority of his career was spent with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins, who are Montreal's biggest rivals.
