During the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche game last night, the Jets whooped the Avalanche 5-0, and two Avalanche fans in attendance had a little too much to drink and after the 3rd goal was scored, the Avalanche fans went a little overboard.
A male and female were causing a commotion and getting rowdy so security was called in to remove the two. The two refused to leave and instead starting fighting with the security guards. So much that one Winnipeg Jets fan jumped in to help and ended up going for a tumble down the stairs and hitting his head off the boards.
The man was 34 years old and from Winnipeg and he was charged with: two counts of assault and resisting an officer
The woman was 28 years old from The Town of Pas and she was charged with: Two counts of assault, assaulting an officer and resisting an officer
There have been plenty of videos shared of the situation, but here is the newest video that shows the fan that was just trying to help the security guards hitting the boards and cracking his head open:
