The Philadelphia Flyers had a horrible season last year, and the management team thought that it was just due to injuries and that they still had a team that was capable of making it to the playoffs.
In the offseason they brought in head coach John Tortorella to right the ship, and to start the season they were doing very well. Now the Flyers are 1-6-3 in their last 10 and currently sit second last in the Metro division.
Management may finally be starting to realize that this roster is not a cup contender and a major 'retool' could be in the works, which would be starting with the trading of this young forward.
In 2017, the Flyers used their 27th overall pick on the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds OHL star, Morgan Forst. He has been back and forth between the NHL and AHL these past few seasons and so far through his career has recorded 10 goals and 28 points in 98 career NHL games.
Frost is only 23 years old and if they're looking to retool to be a younger team, he could be a valuable member, but if the Flyers are looking to move on from the player and teams are interested, he could maybe bring in a decent return.
