Brock Boeser of the Vancouver Canucks appears to be in high demand by several teams leading up to the trade deadline, as trade talks really heat up.

The Vancouver Canucks want to remain in playoff contention for the 2024-25 season. They had a fabulous beginning and looked every bit like a postseason contender before off-ice issues disrupted the momentum.

That led to trading J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, and now another key player, Brock Boeser, is the subject of trade rumors. Things are a bit more cut-and-dried with Boeser.

The 27-year-old winger is expected to hit the market at the end of this season, and though an extension in Vancouver is possible, his inconsistency could very well have the Canucks looking to deal him ahead of the March 7 deadline.

So despite it all, Boeser still has value. The former first-round pick is a proven goal scorer, netting 40 last season.

He obviously won't reach that number this year, but he could provide a serious bump up for a playoff-bound team in need of some depth up front.

LA Kings and Minnesota Wild could be two top destinations for Boeser

Assuming he does get moved, Boeser will very likely be one of the hottest commodities at the 2025 NHL Trade Deadline. Two ideal destinations that make a lot of sense for the talented forward are the Minnesota Wild and the Los Angeles Kings.

Both teams are pushing hard for a deep playoff run and could use a player like Boeser. But regardless of whether Boeser does get traded, the Canucks will be front and center over the next month in continued trade rumors.
