For the first time since Premier Francois Legault said that he had a meeting scheduled with the NHL to bring the Nordiques are we finally seeing the possibility of this occuring.
Today Gary Bettman finally confirmed that he had plans to meet with the Quebec Premier in January.
Bettman went on to temper expectations with a statement on "no team currently looking to relocate"
But given the news this week about the Arizona Coyotes rent situation this resembles comments made before the Thrashers moved from Atlanta to Winnipeg.
