Ilya Samsonov's Fate in Toronto is Now Known

The Leafs starting goalie from this past season, Ilya Samsonov filed for arbitration this off season.
Samsonov's Fate
According to Frank Seravalli the Leafs and Samsonov are not that far off in terms of a new contract.
It was reported that they 26-year-old goalie was asking for $4-$5 million in salary and the Leafs were not willing to pay that for him.
It was announced Monday that Samsonov's arbitration date is set for July 21st.
Samsonov-Woll Tandem
It looks like it will be an Ilya Samsonov and Joseph Woll tandem for the upcoming season for the Maple Leafs.
Samsonov is coming off a bounce back year with the Leafs as he posted a winning record and a save percentage of 0.919%.
Meanwhile Joseph Woll has been in the Marlies for the past couple seasons putting up a career total 0.909% save percentage.
Woll went 16-2-1 this past season with an impressive 0.934% and 2.29 goals against average.
