Jacob McDonald health update

After taking a hard hit and being knocked unconscious the Colorado Avalanche provided an update on the condition of defenseman Jacob McDonald.

According to the Avalanche McDonald is "alert, responsive and has full movement." But the Avs also noted that "he is currently undergoing further evaluation at Ball Arena."

While this is a good sign McDonald is still expected to miss some time as he fully recovers.
