When people think of players crossing the line, they normally think of Brad Marchand, well, Jordan Binnington is the Brad Marchand of goalies.
Binnington has done many things over his career that are questionable and so far hasn't received any consequences for his actions.
But last night, everyone saw something that either made you laugh or cheer.
Binnington has taken runs at skaters on multiple occasions, and last night the Hurricanes dumped in the puck and Jordan Staal was going after it, Binnington went behind the net to play it and instead of going back into his net, he tried to bodycheck Jordan Staal.
Well, Staal was having none of it and countered the hit, which sending Binnington flying!
While we normally see this somehow resulting in a penalty for the skater, neither person were issued a penalty on the call.
