With 13 games remaining this season we have the latest on Canadiens goaltender Carey Price.
Price has been determined to make it back to the Habs roster since leaving the NHL substance abuse program in November. He has had setbacks with his knee rehabilitation, an injury Price has been dealing with since the 2014 Eastern Conference Final when he was ran into by Rangers Chris Kreider.
Carey has now also healed from Covid like illness and was back on the ice today in the Bell Centre. Habs reporter Eric Engels reports:
"This should't surprise any, but Carey Price looks pretty damn good out there during this extensive small area drill the Canadiens are running."
Price was on the ice for 50 minutes today, took some shots and movement drills. The Canadiens are still hoping Price can play before the final game of the season but no word yet if that will happen. But the good news is, Price looks almost ready to go!
